Walid Cherif
Walid has more than 25 years of experience in international finance in emerging markets. He has raised and invested more than US$ 800 million of capital and has structured and executed more than 25 transactions on the investment and divestment sides. Walid founded the private credit business of Gulf Capital in 2011, focused on structured investments across Africa, the Middle East and Turkey and previously headed the GSC Group - NBK Capital Mezzanine Fund operating in the Middle East and Turkey. Prior to joining NBK Capital in 2007, Walid spent ten years at the International Finance Corporation in Washington, D.C., Istanbul and Dubai.
Walid holds a master’s in business administration (MBA) in Finance and International Business from George Washington University in the US, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion, University of Tunis III.
Adam Hadidi
Adam has over 15 years of international investment management and banking experience across both developed and emerging markets. Adam was previously a founding member and Managing Director at Gulf Capital’s private credit business, which he joined in 2011. Prior to joining Gulf Capital, Adam worked at UBS in London as Associate Director in its Special Situations team for two years, originating and structuring bespoke investments across the EMEA region. Prior to joining UBS, he worked as an Associate at MezzVest, a mezzanine and structured equity fund manager with over EUR 2 billion of assets under management. Adam started his career in RBS’ European leveraged finance team in London.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom.
Rami Matar
Rami has over 10 years of experience in corporate finance and investment in emerging markets. Rami was previously Vice President at Gulf Capital’s private credit business, which he joined in 2013. During his time at Gulf Capital, Rami led transactions across Africa and the Middle East and executed investments in the education, business services, agri-business, manufacturing, industrials and oil & gas sectors. Rami was in charge of portfolio monitoring on a number of transactions. Prior to joining Gulf Capital, Rami worked at Ernst & Young in Beirut and in Dubai in the corporate finance team, covering due diligence, valuation and business modeling engagements across numerous sectors in the MENA region.
Rami is a CFA charter holder and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration – Finance (BBA-F) from the American University of Beirut.
Fulton Shiundu
Fulton has over 10 years of experience in private equity and corporate finance. He was previously an Investment Manager at Catalyst Principal Partners, an East Africa focused private equity firm where he spent 4.5 years originating and portfolio managing several deals across multiple industries. Prior to that Fulton was a Manager at KPMG Corporate Finance in London, where he spent 6 years focused on executing buyside and sell-side mid-market M&A transactions within the Industrials sector in Europe and North America.
Fulton graduated from University of Warwick with a Bsc Economics and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Malih Turki
Malih has more than 20 years of experience in audit, accounting, and financial controls. He started his career as an auditor at one of the largest audit firms (former Coopers&Lybrand) in Tunisia before joining Ciments d’Enfidha (Grupo Cementos Portland Valderrivas), as a financial controller. Since 2008, Malih has been with Swicorp, a regional investment firm, where he managed and coordinated financial aspects of the company entities in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, and Switzerland.
Malih holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Institut des Hautes Etudes de Carthage and an advanced diploma in accounting and management from Institut Supérieur de Comptabilité et d’Administration des Entreprises, Tunis. Malih is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the Tunisian Certified Public Accountants Institute.
Selma Cherif
Selma joined BluePeak Private Capital in 2019. She looks after Investor Engagement and is in charge of driving BluePeak’s Sustainability and Impact strategy.
Selma has 9 years of experience in corporate finance and investment. She started her career at EY in the Transaction Advisory team where she worked on numerous due diligences, valuation, and M&A mandates. In 2015, she joined the private equity branch of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations as an Investment Manager.
Selma has a bachelor’s in management & economics, as well as a Master in Banking & Finance from Université Paris Dauphine.
Emma Farthing
Emma has over 25 years of expertise in corporate sustainability strategies, compliance and management systems, capacity training, sustainable finance and environmental, health, safety and social (EHSS) due diligence auditing, compliance and liability assessments.
Emma has worked globally with industrial and commercial clients in a variety of sectors, including ports and airports, metals processing and packaging, petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, electronic and telecommunications, automotive, and food.
She has also been a consultant to various law firms and private equity firms in the context of due diligence assignments.
Malek Charfeddine
Malek has 4 years of experience in corporate finance. Malek was previously a Senior Associate at PWC Tunis in the Transaction Services department where she worked on several valuation, business plan and due diligence projects.
Malek holds an MS in finance from the University of Tampa as well as a Research Master’s Degree from Faculty of Economic Sciences & Management, Tunis. Malek is a certified Financial Modelling Valuation Analyst (FMVA) from the Corporate Finance Institute.
Nesserine Kallel
Nesserine has 4 years of experience in investment banking and investment management. Nesserine was previously an Associate at Attijari Finances, where she worked on several M&A mandates.
Nesserine has a bachelor's in accounting from Institut des Hautes Etudes de Carthage, and a master's in finance from Université Paris Dauphine.
Nesserine is a CFA charter holder as well as a certified Financial Modelling Valuation Analyst (FMVA) from the Corporate Finance Institute.
Sirine Rouissi
Sirine holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in finance.
Ranim Hammami
Ranim holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business analytics. Ranim completed a 6-month internship with Africinvest in the Investor Engagement department before joining BluePeak.
Amira Belghaouia
Amira holds a bachelor's degree in finance from IHEC Carthage and a master's degree in financial analysis from the same institution.
Before joining BluePeak, Amira worked as an analyst at Capsa Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in Tunisia.
Sarra Ben Cheikh Ahmed
Sarra brings over 6 years of experience in environmental, social, health, and safety (ESHS) management. She was previously the Integrated Management Manager at MPC PROKIM Chemicals, where she oversaw ESHS protocols across various projects.
Sarra holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées et de Technologie.
